Outs: how often they hit

With one card to come there are 47 unseen cards after the flop and 46 after the turn. “Turn or river” is from the flop with both cards to come, which only matters if you'll see both cards (for example, all in on the flop).

Pot odds: the equity each bet asks for

When someone bets into a pot, calling breaks even if your share of the final pot is at least the call divided by the final pot. The outs columns turn that into the fewest outs that get there.

Common draws, counted

For each draw we took an example hand and flop and had our hand evaluator check every one of the 47 unseen cards. In a real hand, some of these outs can also help an opponent.

How we count

Exact fractions, rounded once. The turn column is outs out of 47, the river column is outs out of 46, and “turn or river” is one minus the chance of missing twice: the ways to pick two blanks out of every way to pick two cards from 47. We work in whole numbers and round to one decimal at the end, half up. A build check recounts every row by listing all 1,081 turn and river pairs.

Pot odds. If the pot is P after a bet of B, a call of B makes a final pot of P + B, so you need B ÷ (P + B). For a half-pot bet that's one quarter: 25%.

The draws. The out counts come from our equity calculator's hand evaluator, not from a list. For flush draws over several streets, see how often a flush draw gets there.
