How we review
We cover a small number of online poker sites and tell you what each one is good for, who should skip it, and the catch.
What we check
State availability. We use the operator's published terms, press reports and what affiliate managers tell us, and we say which one each claim comes from.
Games, rake and cashouts. Specifics like stake levels, rake percentages and payout times go up only after we've checked them ourselves or when we cite the operator's own published figures, and we say which. General impressions from our own sessions are labeled “Our play”. Anything we haven't tested is labeled “Not tested”.
Our play. Some points come from our own sessions, not a structured test. They're what we saw, not measurements, and the ledger labels them “Our play”.
Written confirmation. When an operator confirms in writing which states it accepts, we date it in the ledger. None of the three has given us written confirmation.
When we link a site
We link a site when we have a stated basis for where it's available, and we tell you what that basis is. Clubs Poker's excluded-state list comes from press reports, so its link only appears for states not on that list. CoinPoker's and Phenom Poker's availability comes from what our affiliate managers told us directly. It was verbal, and we say so wherever we link them.
Where to see what's verified
The verification ledger on the home page shows each check, how we did it, and the date when there is one. “Not tested” means we haven't done it.
