Set limits before you play

Decide on a budget, a time limit and a point where you stop, before you sit down. Never chase losses or play with money you need for anything else.

Use the site's tools

Many sites let you set limits, take a break or close your account. If you can't find those settings, ask the site's support team.

Self-exclusion

If you need a longer break, ask the site to self-exclude you. Some states run self-exclusion programs. They generally cover sites licensed in that state, which may not include the sites we cover, so ask the site directly too.

Age and location

This site is for adults 21 and older. Each site sets its own minimum age, and some states set a higher one, so check the site's terms. Online poker isn't legal everywhere, and availability varies by state, so check your local laws before playing.
